Okay, folks, since I've had a few different people ask me questions this morning about bottle returns, and we have some new customers, I'm going to go through this in detail. A half gallon of milk is $12. This includes the bottle deposit. You get a $5 discount for every bottle that you return (only our bottles. Please do not try to slip in a Homestead Creamery bottle or any other bottle other than our own). If you accidentally left your bottles at home, you do not get that discount and must pay the full $12 per bottle of milk that you receive. When you remember to bring your bottles back, you get your $5 discount for every bottle returned. This is the best way to think of "milk math"....$12 x (the number of half gallons of milk that you received) minus $5 × (the number of bottles that you actually return). If you don't have your bottles with you to return, you must pay the deposit/full price... absolutely no exceptions. Please let me know if you have any questions, and please remember that the deadline for all orders going forward is 5PM the TUESDAY before delivery. Everyone should have seen that memo by now, and I will have to be firm about it this coming week, so plan accordingly, set an alarm, whatever you have to do.
